Furniture restoration

These Redwood Tables were in storage for years and needed some updating. The client wanted 2 benches made from the main piece and 3 tables made from the remaining pieces. There were many jagged edges that needed to be made safe. The existing twisted log bases had rebar and rods throughout that were removed. Once the surface was sanded to remove the old finish and scratches, the amazing beauty of the wood could be seen and appreciated. The areas that were already black in the original pieces were repainted with a flat black paint. Three coats of satin poly finish were applied on the top surfaces. Black powder coated legs were added to each piece.
